hey corey - i really dig what your doing with Creative Commons licensing, and think the trust and respect you show your fans is something all artists should aspire to.
if i can wash enough dishes between now and July 11, i'll be sure as heck getting myself an inscribed copy ... gotta get the McKean cover, man! i've been a big fan of his since way back - Sandman, Big Numbers, Stray Toasters ... the man *is* a genius.
for now, though ... time to read your book!
regards

McKean didn't do Big Numbers or Stray Toasters, that was Sienkiewicz.
Good stuff anyway.

Cory -- It really is rewarding to see you walking your talk about copyright and rights management. I was especially taken with your decision to license separately for developing nations. Good for you.

P.S. I am also planning to buy the "artifact" copy. Everybody who can afford to should.

Can I make a special order? Since I've corresponded with you, Corey, I feel like I "know" you and it would be really cool if I had a copy lying around the house that said something like: "All the best, Jake" or "keep the faith, Jake" or "screw you, Jake, you didn't pay for my first two books"

Hi Cory,
Interesting stuff, I did'nt know much about copyright laws, so I ordered one of your books. It was very informative and a big help.
Thanks very much.
