  1. Thank you, Little Brother is my favorite book, I started reading it early 8th grade and I still love it. I think it is great that you will be releasing a sequel, I just hope you can top your previous act and make this a smashing hit.

  4. Thanks a lot. I came around little brother a year ago, and i absolutely loved it. Seems like nowadays people have a tendency not to take good old 1984 seriously. Too dystopic. Too… science-fiction. I mean when talking to my friends about “public security” there is always this idea of “someone will figure something out”. I absolutely loved your idea with the “here in Germany”-mail in the first part. As a german i can say this is right. We know what happens when governments reach to much power through public security. And it had been the same excuse last time as nowadays, terror. Especially this days with this shamefull display of a sham trial against NSA actions in my country, with Edward Snowden not being invited to court (maybe because of some of his knowledge about the BND…) but now SUED and discredited for working with the russians… This happened the same time i stumbled over your work. And it was really an eyeopener. Because on the question “who controlls the controllers” I can answer: theyself do, if they get around public attention so easily. (By the way, the German government is not the fittest if it comes to the internet, the ruling conservative party still stands on the opinion of “erasing all online porn” :D) So, we have a lying, secretive government that wants to have powers which they do not fully understand and are unable to handle. In times were right wing tensions are rising again. This brought me into politics, this was my eyeopener. IF you read this, what I doubt, I just want to thank you. You definetly raised attention on me. Now that Im starting your second book, I hope it inspires me the same way your first work did.
