NewsSlovak fan-translations of my booksPavol Hvizdos, a Slovak speaker, has translated three of my books into Slovakian -- Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town, and Overclocked. The translations are Creative Commons licensed for your remixing and sharing pleasure. I can't tell you how awesomely cool it is to have readers spontaneously undertake major translation projects just for the fun of it. I believe that sharing my books under CC licenses inspires my readers to promote them, and this is the proof that it works. w00t! 3 Responses to “Slovak fan-translations of my books”Leave a Reply

Hi Cory, thanks so much for reading this book for us! It's a real classic, and I look forward to hearing you read it out over the coming months.
I was also wondering why your coming to China, and what part your coming to? I'm currently living in Wuhan, but do a bit of travel, and It would be my honor to buy you a drink if your about.
From China with love... Doesn't have the same ring as from Russia, does it?
Heh, i guess it's "Slovak language" rather than "Slovakian"
I'll be in Dalian for the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders summit
