Jeff Clark made this bad-ass "StreamGraph" of the word-frequency distributions in Little Brother -- they show how often proper names were used in the course of the book. It's a really fascinating look into the novel's storyline. (Thanks, Jeff!) One Response to “Little Brother proper-name visualization”Leave a Reply |
It’s about growing up in the near future where things have kept going on the way they’ve been going, and it’s about hacking as a habit of mind, but mostly it’s about growing up and changing and looking at the world and asking what you can do about that. The teenage voice is pitch-perfect. I couldn’t put it down, and I loved it.

Great example of what can be done to celebrate and promote digital content when there's no DRM in the way!
Thank you for Little Brother, I'm currently enjoying reading it on my mobile phone of all things (no, it's not an iPhone). Also, for the last time you were on TWiT, thank you for speaking out against Audible; it needed saying.
I'll be getting as many people as I can to read your book.
