NewsSomeone as a daily feedThis is such a cool reminx of my novel Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town -- an RSS feed that gives you a couple pages every day. No matter when you subscribe to it, it sends you the book starting from the beginning. Subscribe via Winksite and it'll come to your phone in daily bite-sized pieces. (Thanks, Charles!) 5 Responses to “Someone as a daily feed”Leave a Reply

Wow. Just... wow. This is such a simple, yet brilliant idea... I'm in rapture.
I've found that of late my attention span is considerably shorter than it should be when reading books, with one exception: your serial on Salon. This remix emulates the spoonful-feeding mechanism but straight into NewsFire, which for whatever reason feels like the perfect app for reading novels.
I realize that you've probably signed some deal with Salon for Themepunks so an RSS feed isn't an option right now, but perhaps in the future you could and/or for your next serial? (I suppose After the Siege is already that, only spoken.)

This is wonderful, Cory. So many people not only believe in the power of your words, but also your ideas. You are, in my not so humble opinion, part of the second renaissance.
Peace,
L.

"I’ve found that of late my attention span is considerably shorter than it should be when reading books, with one exception: your serial on Salon." Very true! PATNOX.COM has a section on this. Thanks.
