    About your comments on Olin College and bittorrent: P2P filesharing is indeed limited at Olin in the manner you describe. However, that isn’t done due to copyright concerns. Rather, it’s done due to concerns that filesharing will use up a substantial portion of the campus’s bandwidth (resulting in slow connections for everyone). (At least, that’s why Olin IT claims to have made that decision.)

    I’ve always been a big proponent of free trade and free trade agreements, but I did not know the whole copyright bait part of the story. Yet again, another idea gone and ruined by our “leaders.”
