Cory Doctorow's

  1. I first found this story in Adbusters when it was published in 2005. I used it in classes straight away, but finished teaching for 5 years at the end of that year.

I then discovered Little Brother in 2011 and was a Cory Doctorow convert straight away, purchasing all your novels and downloading audio short stories and rss feed updates of your articles and other adventures.

Cut to 2012 and I’m back teaching and trying to put together a theme topic on Identity, and decide to use “Little Brother” and “Scroogled” (among others). I then think ‘oh, what about Billy Bailey’ and dig it up from amongst the depths of my hard-drive. I look at the bottom ’cause I can’t remember who wrote it, and goddam it if it isn’t YOU!

It is about now that I think there should be a ‘Works of Cory Doctorow’ course at the nearest University.

    Very nice job, Sir.
