Kazango! An early Charles Lederer draft of The Thing from Another World, based on Don A. Stuart's (i.e. John W. Campbell's) story Who Goes There. The final script was filmed by Christian Nyby, though the word is that Howard Hawks actually did much of the directing (sorta like Stephen Spielberg's "oversight" of Tobe Hooper on Poltergeist). The final film was less about alien invasion, and more about an ideal of leadership under pressure. Watch the skies! [Link].
