![]() Randomizer script for SOMEONE COMES TO TOWNDavid Wallace Jackson wrote a script that randomly changes the names of the characters in my 2005 Tor Books novel Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town -- a book in which the characters' names fluctuate, with only their first initials remaining constant. It's an absolutely delightful idea! Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town (remix) One Response to “Randomizer script for SOMEONE COMES TO TOWN”Leave a Reply |
Fine modern fantasy from up-and-coming SF writer (Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, 2003) and happening Web editor (boingboing.net) Doctorow, with the potential to please both SF and mainstream readers.

I found this today and started reading the book. It's very cool, but one thing drives me nuts! It was written in '05, therefore all laptops come standard with wifi built-in; yet in the book several times people mention things like "your laptop have a wireless card in it?" It's absurd to me and I know it's niche nitpicky. :P Regardless, thanks for the book!
