It’s wonderful, no question about it. But it’s hard to take from time to time, whether because of the calisthenics necessary for all that imagination stretching or because Cory Doctorow’s portrayal of evil is so truly frightening; I did not want to watch some things happen.

Does this work only on Gen 3 and 4 iPods? I’ve got a Gen 2, and know Notes folder under Extras…

I’m not sure how the generation 2 iPods are structured, but if you have a notes section, you should be able to drop this entire thing off into that note section by navigating your iPod and putting it in the Notes folder.
If there is no note capability, then unfortunately this won’t work for you.

No, it will not work on a 1g or 2g ipod because yuou do not have a notes section. However, you can easily install linux on your ipod and be able to read the book and much more. There is a project for this here: http://www.ipodlinux.org
