I was printing a copy of Craphound to read on the train, and then it occurred to me to try to pass it on when I was done with it, sort of BookCrossing style. So, I added a short message to the beginning of the story and left it in my local bookstore in the tech section of the magazine racks. I encouraged any reader who finds it to leave a post here. I bought your book because I liked the cover art.
I didn’t regret it.
Have you looked into what Joey Comeau (of A Softer World) did with his novel? He needed tuition money, so He released one chapter online, then asked for paypal donations, and when he got $250 in donations, he posted the next chapter. He had the whole book up in under a week. Then he wrote three more chapters and released a print version.

Lockpick Pornography is the title. Lovely book.
