Outstanding work Cory.

I've been reading "Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse" and I came across "When Sysadmins Ruled the Earth", the first story in the collection that has drawn emotion out of me. Perhaps it's how close to my world the story is, or your ability to flesh out characters (I even felt attached to Queen Kong), whatever it is, I thank you for writing it.

Gee , was reading about another authors book and the unincorporated man and found out about your new book. I didn't know I could download and would like to say thanks. I loved your other stuff. As for giving it away for download cool. Make $ cents to me in the long run because the more people know how good you are the more you end up making. It's to bad a host of of authors whom works aren't being read anymore from the golden ages 50,60,70 did do the same. H B Piper comes to mind.
thanks dk

Yeah, basically arguing about the Creative Commons releases is something that only concerns the editorial department; arguing about the copyright notice on the title page involves the legal dept. Legal depts are a pain in the ass.

Hello there. I really like your explanation how allowing others to mix and mash your stuff is not detrimental to your economic well-being: in fact it positively helps if I understand you correctly. I just bought Overclocked in hard copy and couldn't help noticing that it contains the standard dire copyright warnings. Is this just publishers in the analogue world still not getting it?
Best wishes
ps looking forward to reading beyond the backside of the title page...
