It’s timely, smart, relatable, realistic, thought-provoking and fun, and that’s why I strongly believe that readers will be talking about Cory Doctorow’s novel for a very long time.

I've bought three hard bound copies from Amazon so far - one for me, one for my brother and one for a friend. I can think of at least two more copies I'll get in the near future. This is an absolutely fascinating book for any age (but most appreciated, I think, by those who are somewhat computer literate).
Thank you, Rick! I really, really appreciate it.

Im aware that you can buy the book in stores, so it isn't a strictly free book. However, I was looking for the book on my nook, and found it was being sold as an ebook for $10. I downloaded it as a pdf, but is it normal for them to sell it as an ebook for money?
Yup! You can get it free from me, you can buy it in shops.

Cory, just wanted to say I am an old fogey from a very conservative background and I absolutely loved your book. The sliding scale that trades freedom for security always makes me nervous. I work in the IT industry but was never much of a hacker. Your book and the afterwards have inspired me to get more involved with the guts of the tech I work on, maybe even take up security as a specialty focus. Thanks for all the good work. (I am over 25 so take everything I've just said with a grain of salt, obviously.)
Thanks, Jeff!

[...] Cory Doctorow is a man preaching to this (me) choir on the subject of copyright. In a nutshell: the people who want it most will pay for it; the people who love it will respect it; copyright law hinges on respect and empathy. He doesn’t state it quite this way. He uses an anecdote about Neil Gaiman recognising that people who love to read will loan, borrow, download free versions of books in order to try them, *then* they will buy them if they like the books. I argue that it’s a respect thing underneath; we respect good authors for their work and we become loyal to them for their service. You know you’ve made it in the book business when your name is in larger type than the title on the cover. [...]
