I find it bewildering and more than a little sad when the choices for the purchase of books handed to us, even on thinking people's websites, are for online and real-world stores whose mandate and/or actual effect is to put small independent bookstores out of business. (Booksense is second on your list after Amazon "Wall-Mart of the Internet" dot com and alas doesn't provide a thorough list of indie bookstores.)

I'll buy my copy from Jennie's Garden Bookstore, one of the most delightful and erudite small bookstores I've ever had the pleasure to walk into, and wonderfully enough in my own back yard.

Pay a little more! Support your local bookstore while it still exists!

Fist high, nose in a book,
Paul
