As referenced in my previous letter to you, Federal Aviation Administration regulations prohibit us from discussing the details of security measures so as to avoid compromising the purpose and integrity of the process. We ask for your understanding of this -- we cannot respond to many questions that deal with security screening. Otherwise, it appears that the 'press release' which was incorporated into my February 18 response to you is comprehensive on the points that we can address. I would re-direct you back to that letter as I consider it to be the most definitive statement we can make about your situation. Mr Doctorow, I realize that this was a distressing moment for you when it happened, but it is highly unlikely to be repeated in your experience. We thank you for recognizing the challenging security issues that our industry faces at this point in history. Please continue to travel with us often -- we need and appreciate your support. Sincerely, Tim Rhodes
