  12. I've just shared this story with Kate Hunt, my daughter, whom you met at the Ottawa Writers' Festival (she didn't know of it). But in order to do it I reformatted the HTML -- the version at http://craphound.com/scroogled.html is just about unreadable. If you'd like you can take the reformatted version I put up for her: I think it's more readable. It's here:

  19. Wow, that's a really powerful story. I love the line at the end where you reference Google Earth and the image of looking down on one's self from a third person perspective. It's a great description of the harrowing emotions that would be suffered at that moment in time.

    I'm going to have to spend my day reading your stories now instead of working!!

  23. Have you seen the recent anti-Google ads by Microsoft that say "don't get Scroogled"? Sounds like copyright infringement to me.
